I have been so busy at work lately that I haven't had any time to come on dA! I have missed everyone's photography so much!

But anyway, I had my first real photo shoot last weekend and I had a blast! I shot a girl I work with and her two kids for holiday photos. I took her to the beach since we are in California. My good friend did her make-up and also worked the reflector. Thank goodness because there was no way a reflector stand was going to get the same effect with two small children moving ALL the time!

I've already got two more shoots coming up from people at work who heard about this one. I am definitely excited but also very nervous. This is what I want to do, take pictures of people but on the flip side, I don't want to mess up. I don't want people to not like their photos. I'm pretty hard on myself when it comes to my art but I guess everyone is.

I'm not done editing the photos from last weekend but I did show her one photo and she fell in love with it, so I'm happy about that.

I bought a domain and will be creating my photography business web site there within the next couple weeks. I'll have my gallery and pricing and all that good stuff. The next thing to do will be to advertise on Craig's List. I love that place!
